Harmonic Arts is a Canadian manufacturer of potent, effective, and easy-to-use mushroom formulas.
Origins of Harmonic Arts
Established in Cumberland BC back in 2009, Harmonic Arts is a family-owned plant medicine company founded by clinical herbalists, Yarrow & Angela Willard.
Yarrow and Angela saw a gap in the market for quality, herbalists formulated plant medicines and decided to do something about it. They started Harmonic Arts with the mission to empower people’s wellness through the use of functional mushrooms.
They do everything with the health of their customers, community and planet in mind. Harmonic Arts is always looking at ways to improve their daily business practices to make them more sustainable. Harmonic Arts practices sustainability by sponsoring or donating a percentage of its profits to support initiatives that benefit the environment, using packaging that is 83% compostable or recyclable, and obtaining the coveted B Corp certification. They are also members of 1% For The Planet and have donated over $79,000 to forest conservation.
Farming Practices & Product Testing Standards
Medicinal mushrooms have a traditional use that goes back centuries. They utilize the healing properties found in the plant, but they do not cause hallucinations because they don’t possess psilocybin.
Harmonic Arts uses the top 5 most researched mushrooms, which include, Chaga, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Turkey Tail, and Reishi. Each of these mushrooms contains active ingredients that support your health in different ways.
When sourcing their mushrooms, they make sure the farmers they partner with have the same values, high standards and ethics as they do. Harmonic Arts only sources mushrooms from farmers who follow sustainable farming practices and use whole-fruiting body mushrooms that are grown on small, certified organic farms without the use of pesticides, GMOs, or pollutants. This ensures their farming practices have a minimal impact on the environment and yield a pure crop.
They only use 100% fruiting body mushrooms because they offer superior concentration and a variety of active compounds, which include over 30% polysaccharide content.
To enhance the quality of their supplements, each product is third-party tested and undergoes two rounds of testing. These tests check for consistency, and potency and to ensure no heavy metals or bacteria are present.
